PTU Christmas Time

Fairy Designs Tutorials-2014
This tutorial is my own creation and written by me December 7, 2014. Any resemblance to others is purely coincidental.  
This tutorial was written for those with a working knowledge of PSP.
Please do not copy or claim as your own.  
 Anything you produce from this tutorial is yours to do what 
you wish for personal use only.  No profit is to be made from your results.

Materials Needed:
PSP X3 or any version should work.
Tube of choice. I am using the awesome art of PinUp Toons.
Can be purchased at Creative Design Outlet.
You must have a license to use this art.
Scrap Kit Sweet Christmas by Mellie Beans.
Kit can be purchased at Mystical Scraps or HeartBeatz Creations..
Mask of choice. I am using WSL_Mask84 by WeeScotsLass.
Font of choice. I am using MTF Dear Santa.
Eye Candy 4000 - Gradient Glow for text.




Lets begin.
Open a new 700x800 transparent image.
Select all.
Open pp08 - copy - paste into selection - select none.
Using the selection tool - custom selection.


Selections - invert - hit delete on the keyboard - selections - invert - modify - contract - 30 - hit delete on the keyboard - select none.
Edit - cut - paste as new layer.
Apply the following inner bevel.


Resize 85% - position up and to the left.
Rename frame1.
Duplicate - position down to the right.
Rename frame2.
Highlight frame1.
Click inside with your magic wand - modify - expand - 3 - invert.
Open pp07 - resize 70% - copy - paste as new layer.
Hit delete on the keyboard.
Move under frame1 layer.
Highlight the frame2 and do the same thing only use pp02.
Move under frame2.
Open e28 - resize 40% - copy - paste as new layer.
Position to the bottom of frame2 so that the flower is off the frame.
Duplicate - image - flip.
Duplicate - image - mirror.
You should have something like this.


Open e30 - resize 70% - image - mirror - copy - paste as new layer.
Position down under the bottom of the frames.
Open e14 - resize 60% - copy - paste as new layer.
Open e13 - resize 25% - copy - paste as new layer.
Duplicate - resize 85%.
Open e12 - resize 35% - copy - paste as new layer.
Move between package layers.
Duplicate - image - mirror.
Duplicate - move to the right.
Open e19 - resize 40% - copy - paste as new layer.
Position right over the evergreen.
Duplicate - image - mirror - move to the right just a little bit so the evergreen sticks out.
Open e18 - resize 20% - copy - paste as new layer - image - mirror - move to the right.
Duplicate - image - mirror - recolor using the Manual Color Correction.
Source - ede4cd - Target - eecb91.
Duplicate - image - mirror - resize 85% - recolor as before using.
Source - eecb91 - Target - b30018.
Open your tube - resize if needed - copy - paste as new layer.
Move under the red flower.
Open e13 - resize 35% - copy - paste as new layer.
Move on top of the red flower layer.
Highlight the top layer.
Open e17 - resize 20% - copy - paste as new layer.
With the pick tool rotate to the left a little bit.
Open e21 - resize 20% - copy - paste as new layer.
Open e16 - resize 20% - copy - paste as new layer.
Open e20 - resize 20% - image - mirror - copy - paste as new layer.
Add new raster layer and send to the bottom - select all.
Open pp01 - copy - paste into selection - select none.
Apply mask - merge group. Move down a little bit.
Apply drop shadow of choice to all elements, tube and frames.
Crop and resize to your liking.
Be sure to sharpen all elements and tube.
Add © copyright information and license number.
Add what ever name that you would like.
